The Delta state government has assured of its readiness to collaborate with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in its determination to achieve a better Nigeria through proper value re-orientation of the citizenry.
The Secretary to state government, Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, gave the assurance today in Asaba when the officials of the Agency paid him a visit.
Hon. Agas said the state government would always incorporate the input of the agency in policy making, urging the group not to relent in in its duties but to liaise with the state Directorate of Orientation to enable then function effectively in the state towards building a better society.
The SSG noted that the NOA was not only for the Federal Government but also for the state as well as local government, and promised to communicate their challenges to the Governor.
Earlier, the new state Director of the Agency, Mr. Ivan Okolo, said they were in the SSG ‘s office on familiarization and to also solicit the assistance of the state government.
Mr. Okolo appealed to the government to collaborate with the Agency in order to move the nation forward.
