The commissioner of environment, Hon. Barr. John Nani has assured traditional council of chiefs in Jesse community of Ethiope-West local government of more developmental projects in the area.
The commissioner made this clear at the Central Oguedion, the traditional town hall when he paid a courtesy visit to address the traditional chiefs on the happenings in Idjerhe as it concerns development and politics in the area.
Nani who addressed the people over the issue of who the next chairman of the local government council of the area should be advised them to let peace reign among them.
He commended the governor, Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, over the numerous appointments given to the Idjerhe people.
John Nani also appreciated the governor for the commencement of 19.5km Jesse Boboroku road project, the NEWMAP (World Bank) project worth over 5 billion and also the Jesse Network Road projects.
Barrister Nani assured the people of Jesse who had been without light of celebrating the Christmas with power.
The people of Idjerhe kingdom were overwhelmed with the good work of the state government and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the present administration
