Delta State Governor, Senator DR. Ifeanyi Okowa has charged Nigerians to make Christ the reason for their yuletide celebration.
Speaking in Asaba at the 2017 Delta State Inter-Denominational Festival Of Nine Lessons And Carols, Governor Okowa said that Christians should use the opportunity of the yuletide season to rededicate themselves to Christ rather than to selfish material desires.

“We tend to spend our time to make our children believe that buying new clothes is more important than Jesus Christ who is the reason for the season, we need to lead our children alright on the road to Christ, we need to rededicate ourselves to Christ and create a room for him in our heart”, the governor added.
