‘Be Diligent In The Discharge Of Your Duties’ – Bayoko Charges Civil Servants

The Head of Service of Delta State, Mr. Reginald Bayoko mni, has charged Civil Servants to be dedicated in their duties so as to give their best to the citizenry in the year 2018 to further achieve the SMART Agenda of the present administration.

The Head of Service gave this charge at the New Year thanksgiving service of the Administrative Officers Forum held at Grace and Progress Family Chapel in Asaba.

Mr. Bayoko who spoke after the church service said that Civil Servants should always be dedicated to their duties by coming to work and carrying out every duty assigned them properly and stressed that they should always seek ways to develop themselves for their own good and the benefit of Deltans.

He enjoined Civil Servants to be loyal to the government that they serve so that the dividends of democracy can get to the grassroots.

At the reception, the HOS appreciated the Executive and members of the Administrative Officers Forum for sustaining this Annual Thanksgiving for a new year established by previous executives.

The HOS also revealed that they are the most organized forum that stands out among other forum and cadre in the Delta State Civil service even as he enjoined them to sustain the tempo.

He also mentioned that challenges are bound to come in any job situation, but the manner in which it is handled defines the individual involved.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Administrative Officers Forum, Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Government House and Protocol, Sir Edwin Ogidi- gbegbaje thanked members for their support, prayers, and encouragement towards the level they have attained thus far.

Former Head of Services, Sir Okey Ofili, Sir Paul Evuarhere, Former Permanent Secretaries, Serving Permanent Secretaries, Directors, among other guests were present at the events.
