The Delta State Government has observed with dismay the ugly trend where some persons erect structures along the streets and highways, thereby defacing the environment and also endangering the lives of the citizens.
Consequently, the Ministry of Environment has requested the owners of illegal structures built along the streets and highways to remove them on or before Friday August 30, 2019.
The Ministry of Environment will soon embark on the demolition exercise to remove all illegal structures built along the streets and highways in the state.
Accordingly, the owners of illegal structures built along the streets and highways are by this announcement advised to as a matter of urgency remove all such structures without fail.
