The newly inaugurated chairman, National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Warri North chapter, Comrade Moses Baradi, has upon assumption of office today, allocated a big coaster bus to convey staff   from Ugbenu/ Koko junction, to the council secretariat for free.

Comrade Baradi who made this known while attending to some public enlightenment officers of the Ministry of Information, who were at his office to congratulate him on his victory, and also to partner with his administration on information management, said the travails staff go through in coming to work, stands as an emergency issue which must be tackled forthwith.

He noted that the issue has had adverse effect on staff attendance for some time now, and this has prompted him to address it, immediately he officially assumed office today.

He reasoned that, with the exorbitant fares drivers charge road users plying the area, the move will help check absenteeism, and alleviate any financial strain it might have on them.

While thanking the officers for the visit, Comrade Baradi, maintained that they remain partners in progress, and as such will ensure that his administration activities are properly captured to give room for growth and transparency.
