It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly Deltans that, as announced earlier, residents, business owners, and owners of developed and undeveloped plots along Asaba/Benin Express Way, that the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), in line with its drive to keep the Capital Territory clean has issued a 7-day notice, effective from Monday January 20 to Sunday January 26, 2020, for all landlords and business owners to remove any illegal structures attached to their respective approved building plans.
Furthermore, buildings/perimeter fences with defaced paintings should be repainted while setbacks should be beautified with flowers/inter-lock stones. Drains within and around premises should be evacuated and cleaned, eject all road side/street traders within and around the environment while environment with overgrown weeds/bushes should be kept tidy within the grace period.
Failure to comply with the above stated directive will attract the necessary sanctions as outlined in the Delta State Environmental Sanitation Laws
Accordingly, residents, business owners, occupiers and owners of developed and undeveloped plots along Asaba/Benin Express Way are advised to comply with the above directive as failure will attract the necessary sanctions.
