The Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA) has advised motorists and other road users in Asaba to always obey traffic rules and shun illegal parking along major roads in the metropolis.

The agency gave this advise at a 2 day sensitization/roadshow programme organized by the Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA) Asaba Zone in order to sensitizatize motorists and tricycle operators on the need to be law abiding in the course of using roads.

DESTMA enjoined motorists whose plate numbers were collected by her officers during enforcements of their duties in the past to visit the agency’s headquarters to pick up their plate numbers as it was a means of identification adding that cars without or illegal plate numbers would be impounded.

The sensitization/roadshow was taken to motor parks and tricycle parks as well as major roads such as Nnebisi Road to Federal Government College junction, Summit Road to Anwai Road and Okpanam Road.
