THIRD PHASE OF ENUMERATION AREA DEMARCATION (EAD) FOR 2018 POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public, particularly Deltans that as part of the Continuation of preparatory activities for the 2018 Population and Housing Census, the National Population Commission has commence the Third Phase of Enumeration Area Demarcation (EAD), from Monday February 13 to Sunday March 12, 2017, in Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State.

The Enumeration Area Demarcation (EAD) involves the division of the country into small geographical units that can be conveniently covered by a pair of enumerators during the Census period.

For the avoidance of doubt, the First and Second phase of the EAD exercise had been carried out in one (1) Local Government Area in each of the thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Consequently, this third phase will cover one (I) Local Government Area in the thirty-six states and the Federal Capital Territory and Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State has been chosen for the enumeration in the State.

Accordingly, residents in Isoko North Local Government Area are by this announcement, advised to accord the Enumerators the maximum cooperation for the smooth implementation of the exercise.
