THE Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah has assured Deltans who are feeling marginalized in the scheme of things, of a better future.
Mr. Ukah gave the assurance yesterday while speaking on a Voice of Delta Current Affairs programme ‘Frank Talk’.
The commissioner, who is also the chairman, Publicity, Sponsorship and Marketing Committee of ‘Delta @ 25’, noted that tolerance among ethnic nationalities in the state had been the hallmark of the state’s existence over the past 25 years of its creation.
He said even with the prevailing harsh economy, the Okowa administration had worked hard within the limits of available resources to spread development in all parts of the state.
While urging those whose expectations had not been met by the present administration to be patient.
Ukah advised the youths to key into the various job creation programmes of the Okowa administration in order to become self reliant.
He said ‘Delta @ 25’ would be marked with an economic and investment forum which would showcase the investment potentials of the state to the world, a gala nite and thanksgiving service among other activities.
