The Warri North Local Government Council chairman, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu, has regained freedom after being kidnapped three days ago by unidentified gun men in Warri .
The news was made known by his media aide, Mr Lucky Atu, in Koko, when he briefed management and staff of the council on latest happenings as regards the abduction.
He revealed that the council boss, was released unhurt, and is very grateful to God for his release
He thanked family and friends for their prayers.
Council workers were seen jubilating in the Council Secretariat, over the news, as most of them said they were very optimistic that he would be released soon unhurt.
Speaking on behalf of the workers, the Chairman, Warri North chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employers (NULGE), Mr. Moses Baradi, thanked family and friends who supported the council boss and his family during the period of his absence, saying his release was an act of God.
As at the time of filing this report, the council chairman has since reunited with his family.
