The Delta State Government says it would continue to partner with the Federal Government Agencies in the state in other to deliver good governance to the people of the state through its Stronger Delta Mantra.
The Secretary to the State Government Mr. Chiedu Ebie made this known when members of the College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) Federal College of Education (Technical) Asaba chapter paid him a courtesy visit in his office
The SSG said the State Government would assist the Federal collage Technical, Asaba to meet its objectives as a school because it has contributed a lot to the development of the education sector in the state.
He said the State Government would look into the erosion problem being experienced by the school in their new campus, with a view in helping them tackle it.
He also commended the executive members of COEASU for embarking on building a hostel complex for indigent students who cannot pay hostel accommodation fees.
Earlier, the Chairman of COEASU, Comrade Lawrence Osagiede said they were in the office of the SSG to intimate him of the erosion challenges being experienced by the school and solicited for the help of the state Government in curbing it.
He equally appealed for governments support in helping to complete the hostel building complex being built by the union for indigent students.
